 ATS Very Tacky Christmas Party

ATS Christmas Party
Friday, December 16, 2016 stands out for some of you because it was the date Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiered and you attended our event. (For those that could make it, thanks for spending your afternoon with us!)
For the crew here at ATS, we were fortunate to attend the movie event AND have our annual blowout company holiday party that same evening. Let me take a moment here to thank the on call team for covering any service issues that arose so the rest of us could enjoy the movie and party.
Once again our party was held at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort, in Louie's lounge. This year's theme: A Very Tacky Christmas. Folks were encouraged to dress the part for a chance to win a prize, and capture the spirit of the tacky evening with pics provided by The West Virginia Photo Booth Company. The photo strips were narrowed down to the top 5, and the crowd selected the Tackiest Photo Strip.
Other awards were also presented during the evening. Head on over to our Facebook page and check out the photo album to see who won. Tell us which photo strip is YOUR favorite!!!

But it's actually not that surprising given the life that White Sulphur Springs native has lived. The film, "Hidden Figures," is set to be released January 6, 2017.
"Hidden Figures' is the "incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson - brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit." It represented "a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world."

And it's now time to recognize "the visionary trio who crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big." according to a studio release.
Johnson, always loved numbers but had no way of knowing her passion would mean she'd literally reach for the stars as a NASA mathematician.
